Just walked into the house getting some excapees back in. The cows only have 12 more days to wait, but they do not want to. The branding is done, just have some bulls to work off then wait and wait and wait until the 15th of April for turn out day.
Grandpa decided one of the fields was not harrowed good enough so he went over it again. He sure doesn't seem 88.
Brian is hard at work trying to get the sprinklers going on the hay. One pond seemed to be leaking water, can't have that. So into the big loader to haul sand and bentenite to seal the bottom.
Bryce and our hired man are rebuilding the fence that the cows tore down. Just never seems to end this time of year.
I took some spring time picture of the ranch to gander at as well. The snowiest mountain in the background is Rough Mountain and the one on the right with the skiff is Doyle Mountain. Doesn't much look like spring time up there yet.
Life on the ranch is super busy this time of year, I will try not to be late next week. Talk to you all then..............
