Things on the home front, well are just going. Brian’s dad, Bob has made it through his third round of chemo, the third round didn’t do him much good, he was sure sick for about three days. We do have this week off, thank God. Three more rounds and we do a CAT scan to see if the chemo is working.
I do have a new addition to the family. It took about two days to come up with her name, but Grandpa Bob said she should be a Penny, so Penny it is. She is a toy aussie that we bought in Baker City, Oregon. What a tiny tot.
The TF Bar calves have had their first round of shots, and this week we will be giving them their second round. Oh how they love us, not. But it is for their own good, a flu shot so to speak, cylence for the flies, (which have been bad), two rounds of pink eye shots and then they will get turned back out onto grass again.
The main herd gets gathered up next weekend and brought to the home place on the mountain. After we give them a breather we will process them as well and trail them to another private field about two days away from cowcamp. Hopefully I can get some pictures of that for ya, it is quite an amazing sight to see.
I did get a big surprise from Brian this week. For my birthday he got me a sterling silver chain for my cross, (I broken the one I had), and a pair of Topaz earrings. Talk about bling, those earrings are that.
Well the dishes are just about done washing and this fly is about to get on my last nerve, so I guess I will sign off, get Penny and go to bed, it is kinda late. Talk to ya soon!!
