Bob and Pam Howard, Hammett, Idaho
Like the winding Snake River that flows through the southern Idaho rangelands, Bob and Pam Howard are focused on a continuum of life and livestock.
Bob says the couple’s ranch near Hammett, Idaho, is a constant reminder of harmony with the land.
“We are only here for a short time,” he says. “Ranching here is about stewardship; raising animals in a sustainable manner with integrity.”
The Howards aren’t just focused on an end product. “We’re committed to passing on the values and love of this lifestyle, while at the same time producing a healthy product which will benefit the whole.” Pam says. “We continually thank God for this opportunity to live our lives in this manner.”
Country Natural Beef’s network of like-minded individuals allows the Howards to further their quest for sustainability.
“It’s individual families working in a united manner,” Bob explains. “We take great pleasure in being a part of this co-op and being able to help feed others as we feed our own.”
