Best Potato Salad
2 Pounds of Potatoes
½ Cup of Sour Cream
½ Cup of Mayo
½ Chopped well Onion
3 Hard Boiled Eggs Chopped Chunky
1 Dill or sweet pickle
Small can of sliced olives
1 TBSP of Mustard (I like a little Dijon for zest).
2 chopped celery stalks
Salt & Pepper to taste
May add 1 TBSP of vinegar
1.) Boil Potatoes, I like to leave the skin on for some texture!
2.) Once potatoes can be pierced with a fork, they are done.
3.) Chop up potatoes, some mushy (Think Mashed) and some chunks for more texture.
4.) Combine Mayo, mustard and sour cream into a mixing bowl.
5.) Pour over potatoes and mix in onion, celery, eggs and your salt and pepper.
6.) I like to mix gently, so it doesn’t get too mushy.
7.) Add olives to the top with a little paprika for extra flavor!
Best Grilling Tips
Pick a decent charcoal. It is easy to skimp on the coals (we have all done it) but you can truly taste the difference!
Use hardwoods if you can. They add layers of flavor to your meat.
Season your meat before those coals even get warm! Give the meat time to soak in all the flavors!
Try taking your meat out from the fridge about 15 minutes before cooking, this allows for better marinating and evenly cooked meat.
What are your favorite seasoning and charcoal to use? Share below!
